FISHING: This is one outstanding lake, be it Smallmouth or Muskie. Few lakes can match it. Boat Bass by the hundreds in the 1-4 pound class. If you have never caught a Muskie, this lake is for you! The chances are way about normal. They run from snakes to over 40 pounds. When you least expect it, that monster will appear. With its winding and twisting channels, it affords lots of shoreline and protection from the wind to fish.

 

 

*Smallmouth, Walleye, Northern

FISHING: This stained water lake is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast who likes to portage and explore. Fishtrap is noted for its abundant Nothern Pike and feisty smallmouth fishing, along with trophy Walleye. The one portage is only a 100-yard walk with boat and motor waiting, into a fast-action Walleye and Northern lake. The other portage also has a boat and motor waiting, but is a 3/4-mile walk to an un-named Walleye lake visited only by a few fishermen each year. No matter if you portage or not, the peace and solitude are breathtaking. Fishtrap will keep you coming back for more with its sand beach for swimming, weed beds for trophy Northern and rock reefs for smallies.

 

 

FISHING: If you are looking for action and the possible trophy, look no farther! Walleyes run 1-4 pounds with a chance of a trophy. There is one portage lake with big Northerns and Walleye in the 2-pound range. All within easy reach of camp. Boats already in the portage lakes.

FISHING: It is one of my best Bass lakes with its clear cold water, they grow to over 5 pounds. It is not uncommon to catch and release 100 Bass in one day. Tired of that, try one of the Lunker Pike that feed on the unsuspecting Bass, or spend an afternoon jigging for Lake Trout, you never know when that 20 plus will strike! For the adventurer, there is one portage lake to explore.

 

 

FISHING: This crystal clear lake has it all! Lots of Bass in the 2-4 pound range. The Northern and Muskie run big here too with a good chance of a trophy. Lots of Trout to play with you when you need a break from the Bass and Northern. If that isn't enough, there are 2 portages available with great Bass and Northern fishing.

 

 

FISHING: A smaller dark water lake in comparison to others is perfect for those who don't like large bodies of water. With all its long winding channels and bays, there is no shortage of hot spots. This lake continually produces excellent catches of Northerns up to 20 pounds, along with all the Walleye you care to catch. Come see for yourself the solitude and tremendous fishing!

FISHING: This dark water lake stretches over 10 miles through the Canadian wilderness before emptying into Root River. This lake produces outstanding catches of Walleye and Nothern from early spring to late fall. The hotter the temps are, the hotter the action! The lake has been referred to as a Walleye factory as every reef and bay holds fish. The sheer numbers will keep novice or pro happy with its steady action. A perfect lake to take the family!

 

 

FISHING: A trophy lake by anyone's standard with countless weedy bays and rock reefs. A fisherman's dream with Muskies in excess of 35 lbs., abundant Northern Pike and excellent Lake Trout for added variety, but Muskie is #1 here. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. Walleyes will run in that 2-4 pound range with a chance of one over 5 pounds. The potential for trophy Northern is excellent with all the weed beds, it is Northern haven! The chance for a fish over 20 pounds is a reality and will test your skills and gear. There is never a dull moment, if you aren't fishing, you thoughts will be caught by the call of the loon or cry of a timber wolf in the distance. The beauty and solitude will beckon you back again and again.

FISHING: This stained water lake is truly an angler's paradise with 5 interconnecting to fish and explore. The Walleye fishing is superb with countless fish in the 2-4 pound range and larger. As for Northern fishing, it doesn't get any better than this. Lots of Walleye and Pike waters to explore. This dark stained lake is located on the world famous Cat River system where Walleye and Northern are king. This lake produces catches in the hundreds.
