Last season the western Maine mountains were blessed with snow, while a number of Maine towns went without; and many snowmobilers who were drawn to the area for the first time by the white cover soon discovered some of the best groomed and most scenic trails in the state.

This area is home to the largest snowmobile club in the state, the Rangeley Lake SC with over 400 members. These members are responsible for coordinating the maintenance and grooming of this heavily traveled trail system. When a groomer passes by, give them thanks and a thumbs up - they'll appreciate it!
