River Region surrounded by over 25,000 acres of woodlands, which
offers excellent fishing, hiking, canoeing and relaxation in the
famous crystal waters of Northern Maine.

The
Moose River Region of Maine is known for its rugged beauty of area lakes
and mountains where you can see Moose, Deer, Loons and other wildlife.
From Loon Echo Family Campground you can wind through trails covered with
richly wooded forest, brisk mountain streams and enjoy lakes and ponds
all around the area. Our Campground has its own acre natural Pool in the
brook coming out of Parlin Pond where you can test your skills with Fly
Rod and you can feel the tradition of the early explorers.

Endless
hiking and biking trails start from the campground going to waterfalls,
mountains and streams. Slide down our own Parlin falls, 1 1/2
miles from camp.
Recreation
area is adjacent to large group site, away from other sites and
offers volleyball, basketball and horseshoes. Equipment is free.
Scouts, church groups and others enjoy this site.

station is available for small campers, free with a 2 day stay.

We are glad to say that we offer "Quiet
Family Camping" and "Quiet Hours" are enforced. We give
you a place where life slows down. If you like to go on the lake, we have
Canoes and Kayaks that you can rent.
All
of our Campsites have picnic tables and fire pits for those of
you who do not have a tent, you can rent one of our camping cabins
on the waterfront with a beautiful scenic view.
The
town of Jackman is 12 miles to the north. There you can visit the museum
or have a fine meal in one of our many restaurants. Should you want some
excitement, the Jackman Area offer whitewater rafting on the Kennebec
River or for a real wild ride you can go on the famous Dead River.
