Maine's Sporting Camps offer an experience all their own. With an international reputation, traditional camps remain little altered since they first became famous in the 1880's and are popular with the avid Sportman.

Fishermen from all parts of the World have been drawn to the pristine waters of Moosehead Lake for many years. When you're trolling on Moosehead Lake, you will be surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in the USA.

Opened to Fishing: May 1 through September 31

WINTER FUN

Family snowmobiling has opened a new world for riders, sporting camps, resorts, motels and sports outfitters. Good snowmobiling is to be had in the Greenville and Rockwood areas around Moosehead Lake. Here you will find more than 300 miles of groomed, marked trails that connect with Maine's INTERSTATE TRAIL SYSTEM (ITS). Modern equipment and dedicated volunteers make Moosehead the number one center for family snowmobiling!
