Our Main Lodge offers large private rooms with comfortable beds, and an impressive lounging and dining area overlooking the water.

Home cooked family style meals are our specialty among with great Northern hospitality. Homemade breads, pies, muffins and other treats are served in the finest tradition.

There are also five Cabins sleeping 2-8 people. All are equipped with full baths, automatic heat as well as wood stoves in some, and equipment for cooking, as some guests prefer.

Cabin guests can also have their meals served in the Lodge if they wish.

Maine High Adventure starts at Mt. Chase Lodge!

Since 1976, we at Mt. Chase Lodge have been helping to simplify the logistics of trip planning for troop leadership by providing a convenient place Boy Scouts crews going to Matagamon High Adventure Base to lodge and eat at minimal cost.

Transportation Services:

Another service that we offer is ROUND TRIP VAN TRANSPORTATION to Matagamon from Bangor for crews who find it more convenient to fly or bus to Maine. We are only an hour and forty five minute drive from the airport or bus station. With one phone call, leadership can arrange both transportation, lodging and meals, making that part of the planning process simpler.
